Protecting Your Dollars,
Preserving Our Community
"If we want to see real progress in District 3, we have to stick to the F.P.E.G. strategy:
Fiscal discipline to protect our tax dollars, Planned growth that respects our neighborhoods, Empowered public safety for every family, and Genuine transparency from the Board of Commissioners.
It’s time for leadership that prioritizes Henry County residents over special interests!"
~Sarita Dyer
Sergeant Major, (Ret.) USA
Candidate for Henry County Commissioner District 3
Fiscal Responsibility:
Heading 4
Protecting your tax dollars with transparent auditing.
Focusing on core services like "Safe Streets" and infrastructure before secondary projects.
Identifying and eliminating "waste, fraud, and abuse" within the local bureaucracy to ensure funds reach their intended destinations.
Moving toward a "Balanced Future" by ensuring current spending does not create an unsustainable debt burden for future generations
Planned Growth:
Smart development that preserves our community’s character.
"Planned growth" refers to a proactive, strategic approach to expansion
Focusing on the residents who are vested rather than solely on outside developers.
For communities, planned growth often follows "Smart Growth" principles to prevent sprawl and ensure sustainable development. This includes mixing land uses, creating walkable neighborhoods, providing varied transportation choices, and preserving open space.
Empowered Safety:
Fully funding our first responders for a safer Henry County.
As District 3 experiences rapid growth it is imperative that adequate funding ensures departments, first responders, and law enforcement officers can maintain necessary staffing levels, reducing response times for life-threatening emergencies.
Full funding allows for ongoing training in critical areas like hazardous material handling, technical rescue, and de-escalation, which improves both responder safety and patient outcomes.
Genuinely Transparent:
An open-door policy for every resident.
Fostering an environment of honest, open, and consistent communication where information—even bad news—is shared proactively rather than hidden. It goes beyond legally required disclosures to build a foundation of trust, ensuring residents understand the "why" behind decisions and feel their voices are valued in the community... "An open-door policy for every resident".
